Hi everyone!
yes, one of my favourite time of the year Halloween is this Saturday!

last year I've decorated my restaurant as alice in wonderland, had all my staff dress up in alice in wonderland costumes!

this years theme is daemons and vampires! I have done the decoration beginning of this month, and we are going to be dressed up again this coming Saturday. If you stop by in Jtown(Markham, Ontario), and you see someone in butler clothes, most likely, it will be me.lol

hope to see a lot of amazing costumes this year too!! Also, whoever visits Green Tea Lounge in Jtown, in full costume, you will recieve a free ice cream, and recieve candies this year too!!

So I started going through the cosplay photos I've taken in Japan this past May.
Sooooooo Much fun!!! I love cosplay, and photoshoots.
Too bad I don't have much cosplay friends in toronto.

So, the Tiger & Bunny photoshoot was taken place in Kawaguchi, Japan named KAWAGUCHI ART FACTORY (www3.to/a-lab ). There is a photo studio there with about 10 different backgrounds. I was a limited number event (reservation needed) so it was great with no waiting time!! I think it cost us about 3000yen (about $35CAD) from 11am~5pm. AMAZING!!! usualy studios in Japan will cost a few hunderend $ for half a day.

I did cosplay for 3 days at Fanexpo but the lighting sucks and I needed to go back to work so I didn't take much photos.
But I did drive from the convention center to Jtown (in Markham, Ontario) dressed up as Tadashi, and an empty Baymax nest to me at 2pm in the afternoon, just before rush hour on the Saturday. LOL
Too funny!
Other than that, We did do Gintama & Geten no Hana. took some funny pictures walking around. I wish we could have done more...I  REALY want to go for a photoshoot!!! LOL

I will be helping out my sister(Niwa-katuki) at fanexpo this year too, but since this year is in September, I won't be there half the time. So if you see us there, or walk by the artist alley, please give us a shout!

Hours I will be there in costume:

Thursday: all day (May or may not be in Gintama)
Friday: morning- 2pm (Gintama :Sakata Gintoki)
Saturday: morning to 2pm (Big Hero 6: Tadashi)
Sunday: all day. (Geten no Hana: Akechi Mitsuhide)

Hi everyone. I can't believe its mid March!!!
let me think back 2015 so far........nope! did nothing productive!!!

we are finaly getting warm in ontario, yay!! I still hate spring because of all the salty snow melt, mud, and the garbage that was buried in the snow. At least I got to take my Saion IQ to the car wash!! (≧▽≦)ノ I love my cute car.
Hope we have more green soon.

I have been watching "Haikyu!". a vollyball anime; the comic book is great!!
Found out how unfit I am. yes it sucks, and I was so shocked how high I can't jump anymore.
Half of my staff including my self had skin problems this winter probably because of the cold -20 that we had for so long and the dish soap made thigs worse. Using had cream was even painful that we all went crazy searching for cream that won't burn our hands.lol
Winter festivle in J-town. so much work just preping!!
Tax season sucks!! lol
Have been baking crazy!! we're not a backery but I guess people like our cakes.
won $25 on the lottery. lol


plans for 2015:
-some friends are going back to Japan so we are going for a "Haikyu!" photoshoot at Center Island.
-We may do a Cosplay contest in J-town; part of Summer festivle. Aug. 8, 2015?
-If I get new staff I get to go to Japan in May.
-FanExpo in September. (Cosplay plans: Tiger & Bunny Hero suits, Geten no Hana, Gintama, Big Hero 6)


well, hope spring is soon, I can't wait till summer!!

Ok, at least it's it only 3-7cm of snow...or at least that's what the radio in the car said today. I look out the window and a major traffic jam. Steeles always has an accident right off HWY404. It is ranked the top 10 every year for the most accidents in Canada yet people still think they can make it through the red light...everyone, please drive safe!! It's major snow and even if you have winter tires, you will still slip!!!

other than that, I'm still offline as usual.

haven't been drawing for a while(until this week) even if it's so quite at work. Too much paperwork and things to take care of. Our rabbit that we have is a bit sick, so we've been force feeding her for about 3days now. She's ok, it's just that she needs to go do her business a bit more frequently. Other than that she is jumping and running around as usual.

I've opened one of my anatomy books yesterday for the first time in months. A very good book; Anatomy for the artist by Sarah Simblet. I do recommend this book who is interested in life drawing. It is a bit pricy but personally it was worth it. So I started a under drawing for Rock Bison and I wanted to do a back view showing his muscles. So hard!! I don't think I have been drawing back views too much esp. With muscles.nit is a good practice but I should start on life drawing again since my balance is off.

i want to cosplay!! I don't have a lot of Canadian cosplay friends here in Canada. I've been cheating with line to my friends in Japan, and I miss all the cosplay that I do there. So different how crazy a lot of my friends are. Of course in a good way. and I do have a cosplay craving now. Especially now since we have snow, I would like do go for a photo shoot. Soooo cold through. I still do want to do "Saiyuki Ikan" in the snow since there is a snow scene in the comic.lol 
I was talking to my friend Lisa(she's not much of a cosplayer but she is an amazing artist) the other day and we said we want to do something fancy. So she texts me a few days later and tells me we're going to do "Geten no Hana". Now, we have not played the game so we do not know what the characters are like but the costumes are REALY FANCY!!! So looking forward to making that.
I also noticed I need a photographer when we are cosplaying because I didn't think my sister had no clue how to take portraits. Lol I never had this problem cuz most cosplayers I know in Japan knows what angle looks good, and my other friend is an actual photographer. I wish there were 2 of me sometimes. Lol

want to start my comic again soon. I just need to redo my outline for the story cuz I don't like it now. So hopefully soon.

well, 30min more till last order, so hopefully I could close early and go home. Too much snow....
